UNDIP’s involvement in policy making or implementation of programs and policies related to poverty issues is related to the involvement of lecturers as experts either personally, in groups or UNDIP representatives at the district, city, provincial and national levels. The participation of UNDIP experts in the Secretariat of Sustainable Development Goals is at the Central Java provincial level. At the national level UNDIP has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture to enhance cooperation in education, research, and provide benefits to the community. The goal is to reduce extreme poverty in Indonesia through various initiatives and collaborations between UNDIP and the government.
