11.2.1 – Public Access to Buildings
Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing arts, cultural heritage, and sustainable development, positioning the University as a leading contributor to the creation of sustainable cities and communities. Through public access to culturally significant facilities, the preservation and promotion of local cultural heritage, the provision of green open spaces, and the integration of sustainability principles across its campus, UNDIP actively supports inclusive and resilient urban development. The University’s commitment to environmentally responsible campus management, sustainable infrastructure, accessible transportation, and community engagement reflects its leadership in achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, while serving as a model for a sustainable, inclusive, and livable university environment.

1. Muladi Dome
Muladi Dome is a three-story building with bleachers, featuring parking areas in the front and in the basement. The basement also houses two prayer rooms, each with a capacity of 150 people. The first floor of Muladi Dome features several seminar rooms, a coworking space, as well as a dozen tenants and a food court. The second floor of Muladi Dome is a ballroom equipped with two movable partitions, allowing the ballroom to be divided into three rooms, each with a capacity of 1,500 people. Measuring 90×60 square meters with a total capacity of 4,500 people plus 700 in the stands, the Muladi Dome ballroom is the largest in Central Java.
With the inauguration of this iconic, multifunctional, prestigious, largest, and grandest multipurpose building in Central Java, it is hoped that UNDIP can continue to improve the well-being of its academic community and the surrounding community.
2. UNDIP Football Stadion
Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) Football Stadium, located at UNDIP’s Tembalang Campus in Semarang, Central Java, is a key sports and recreational facility designed to support football, athletics, fitness, and community activities. Featuring a 109.6 × 67.2-meter football field covering approximately 7,367 m², an athletics track, spectator stands, and supporting facilities, the stadium serves students, staff, the university community, and the public. It provides a versatile space for sports training, competitions, jogging, university events, and community activities, reflecting UNDIP’s commitment to promoting a healthy, active, inclusive, and achievement-oriented campus environment.
3. Basketball Stadion
Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) has established a world-class basketball arena named Prof. Dr. dr. Susilo Wibowo, a previous Rector of Undip. Situated just east of the main stadium, the facility is built to official FIBA specifications, featuring a 28 by 15-meter court, a 3.6-meter center circle, and a 6.75-meter three-point line. Furthermore, the arena boasts a 900-seat tribune, making it fully equipped to host sporting events and accommodate professional media documentation. Since its inauguration, the arena has proudly hosted various competitive events, including regional student basketball leagues, inter-faculty championships, and national university tournaments.
4. Badminton Stadion
Polytron Stadium is a world-class badminton stadion at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), built in collaboration with Djarum Foundation, Polytron, and iForte. The 11,000-square-meter complex features an iconic giant shuttlecock at its entrance, five BWF-standard courts with premium Flypower flooring, and a 300-seat tribune. Equipped with inclusive amenities, the stadium serves as a premier hub for student-athlete development and major tournaments like the Undip Rector’s Cup Open.
5. Futsal Court

UNDIP Futsal Court is an indoor sports facility located at the Universitas Diponegoro Tembalang Campus, featuring an international-standard futsal court. The facility is supported by spectator stands, changing rooms, restrooms, and a spacious parking area, providing a comfortable venue for both training and competitions.
The court serves as a venue for student sports activities, competitions, and recreational exercise, supporting UNDIP’s commitment to promoting an active and healthy campus community. It has also hosted major student sporting events, including the Pekan Olahraga Mahasiswa Nasional (POMNAS), Indonesia’s national multi-sport competition for university students.
