Rencana Kerja Anggaran Tahunan (RKAT) Undip-2024

In alignment with its strategic vision of becoming an excellent research university, Universitas Diponegoro embeds sustainability considerations into its investment planning and resource allocation. The university’s Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Tahunan (RKAT) Perubahan I Tahun 2024 details a number of investment programs that emphasize long-term institutional resilience and sustainability. Notably, substantial funding—over Rp751 billion—is allocated to enhancing the quality of infrastructure and asset development, which includes green campus initiatives, smart integrated systems, and energy-efficient facilities. Another Rp251 billion is directed toward increasing returns from business units and endowment funds, indicating a strong emphasis on sustainable financial independence through impact-driven investments. These allocations demonstrate UNDIP’s commitment to long-term ecological and economic sustainability by prioritizing investments that yield both academic and environmental benefits.

Beyond infrastructure, UNDIP also strategically channels its investments to support research, innovation, and commercialization of sustainable technologies. Programs such as “Penguatan Kualitas Riset dan Pengembangan” and “Peningkatan Kerjasama dan Komersialisasi Hasil Riset,” with budgets exceeding Rp100 billion combined, are designed to bridge academic excellence with societal impact. These funds are aimed at fostering interdisciplinary research, particularly in coastal, marine, and green innovation—reflecting the university’s core scientific identity rooted in Coastal Region Eco-Development. Moreover, the RKAT emphasizes the diversification of income sources and reduction of dependency on state budgets, a principle aligned with sustainable financial management. This strategic distribution of funds positions UNDIP not only as a higher education institution but also as a sustainability-oriented investor that advances environmental, social, and governance (ESG) values through its budgetary practices.
