Public Access to Buildings
Undip has provided a natural heritage landscapes accessible to public. One of the highlighted activities in 2023 is Special Purpose Forest Area (KHDTK) Wanadipa Penggaron, through a partnership with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) through Perum Perhutani, located in the Penggaron Forest area in Semarang Regency. To preserve & create more benefits to the ecosystem in the area, Undip has planted 7,500 kapok trees in KHDTK Wanadipa, Semarang, as part of a collaborative effort to address flooding along the Babon River in 2023. Like similar previous initiative, this activity involves multiple organizations, aiming to enhance conservation and reduce natural disaster impacts. The trees will benefit local communities by providing resources like honey and industrial products. The government believe the project will improve the environment and help mitigate future flooding issues.
