Early this year before the massive spread of COVID-19, Faculty of Engineering through CBIOM3S in cooperation with the Social Service of Central Java Province handed mechanical hands for 27 persons with disabilities in Central Java at the Provincial Social Service Hall. Present at the event were Undip Dean of FT Undip. Prof. Agung Wibowo, Chairperson of PT. CBIOM3S Undip Dr. Rifki Ismail. In his speech, the Dean of Undip FT stated that all the innovation and technology should be end up for the beneficial of the society and this mechanical hands for person with disabilities was a one of a good example created by CBIOM3S. Chairperson of PUI PT Health Technology CBIOM3S, Rifky Ismail, hopes that the mechanical hands can helps people with disabilities in their daily activities.

Center for Biomechanics, Biomaterials, Biomechatronic and Bio-signal Processing (CBIOM3S) is a research center that focusing their research and innovation in the technology related to health such as bionic hands, mechanical hands, club foot therapy tools for babies, braces for patients with osteoarthritis in the knee joints, artificial limbs, diagnostic tools for Parkinson’s disease , Exo-glove for stroke patients, etc. The newest development is Indonesian Bionic Arm 4.0 created by CBIOM3S, with respect to all the new technology it become the robotic prosthesis leader in ASEAN countries region. This product is offered in the market with the reasonable price which able to fulfil the ASEAN markets.
