To support the program of “UNDIP Go Green”, UNDIP has implemented a policy on waste disposal in order to minimize and properly traits the waste generated by UNDIP (https://the.undip.ac.id/download/18sdg12/waste%20disposal.pdf). In respect particularly to the hazardous waste, such waste is firstly processed prior to disposal, so that will not harm the environment. Previously (before 2018), the hazardous waste was processed by the “Integrated Waste Processing Unit” (unit under the university). However, from 2018 onward UNDIP has collaborated with the third parties to deal with the hazardous waste. The collaborative contracts were signed at March 2018 among UNDIP, PT. Triata Mulia Indonesia and PT. Putra Restu Ibu Abadi (https://the.undip.ac.id/download/18sdg12/UNDIP%2C%20PT.%20Triata%20Mulia%20Indonesia%20and%20PT.%20Putra%20Restu%20Ibu%20Abadi.pdf), while the contract among UNDIP, PT. Triata Mulia Indonesia and PT. Wastec International was signed at June 2018 (https://the.undip.ac.id/download/18sdg12/UNDIP%2C%20PT.%20Triata%20Mulia%20Indonesia%20and%20PT.%20Wastec%20International.pdf).
